Austin wedding-booked!

Did you see the adorable couple engaged in the family shots I did Saturday? How could you miss them, right? They’re too cute!

After the family session, and viewing the gorgeous couples and brides on my website and blog, Lori (the blonde who looked completely, totally IN LOVE) decided they want to book us for their Austin wedding September 26th, and will be traveling us there so we can capture their special day! I will also be shooting her bridal pictures as well! We are quite honored and excited, as we have Adrienne and Joey’s beautiful wedding in Fredricksburg (nearby Lori’s wedding) the weekend before so we might just spend the week in the Hill country, and enjoy one of that gorgeous area’s resorts in between the two weddings!

How my weekend filled up…fast!

I started this week thinking my only session would be with Crystal and her fiancee this Sunday, for their engagement shoot (we’re also photographing her wedding in August)…but by the end of the day, I had booked a family session with a really neat family for Saturday, later in the day (Two parents, Three daughters, and seven doggy-children!), and a real-estate shoot for earlier in the day for a very large, very beautiful home the couple would like sold asap! Looks like my Monday will be a busy editing day again next week! I’m also considering two more weddings for early Spring that contacted me yesterday as well.

To all my amazing clients who have told me to take a breather from all the business and shoots or I’m going to forget what day it is!: I am taking the entire day with my hubby!

What a blessing each of you are, we are so excited about all the doors that have been opened, and about each of your special days!

Thinking Bridal Portraits?

I couldn’t decide which pictures to post on the blog, so how about just seeing the whole edited session? Sit back for about ten minutes, (and listen to the song about 2X), and check it out. This session was from last weekend with this fun-loving, super sweet bride, Lace (you may remember her and Cassidy from the engagement shoot I did a few months back) I can’t wait to be apart of their special day on July 4th! At some point I will have to choose some for the website…and? I just booked another wedding for 8/8/08! And subsequently, an engagement session for sunday, May 25th! Keep an eye out on this blog, I will be posting the Bridal session of Audra’s, some pictures from the business shoot I did Wed. night (the most ADORABLE boutique/flowergirl dresses, EVER), and then I have a generational family session tomorrow and a graduating college student on Sunday!

This Saturday morning…and its a doozy! Fourteen family members, all together for the first time in a very very long time…a generational shoot! It’s going to be awesome! And, what a neat idea…we never know how much time we have with our loved ones, and when we can all come together, what better way to celebrate it then in pictures?

So, this week a business-shoot (Wed), Saturday, a family shoot, and Sunday, a Graduate shoot! Busy busy week! (I’m SO not complaining!) Keep watching for more pictures going up!

Wedding…booked! (October)

Met with a couple from Philly last night, and after some fantastic chit-chat, they put down their deposit for their October 17th wedding! They also went ahead and purchased a storybook album ahead of time, so we could dive right into it after their wedding! How did they find me? The florist recommended them to my favorite cake lady. Her website linked to my website. They loved the pictures, and called!

It is going to be at a beautiful country club, with gorgeous outdoor settings, and limo rides ta-boot! She is deciding on the engagement session right now, and we are so excited to be apart of their special day in October!! (Even if groom is an Eagles fan!)

I had a blast photographing Audra’s bridal session Saturday, and Sharon and Trevor’s engagement session Sunday! I am busy editing the shots, that turned out beautiful of both sessions, while fighting a cold running through our household! I can’t wait to share their shots!!

A June Bride…

Patsy and Bill just put down their deposit for us to photograph what promises to be a most beautiful day in June, at a gorgeous B&B in the woods, set up just for special, more intimate weddings. We are so excited to be sharing in their day!

Already thinking…Thanksgiving!

This morning, Casie, a new thoughtful and very sweet client, put down her deposit for me to photograph her reception the day after Thanksgiving! When the Spring showers are coming down, and the thunder is rolling outside, its odd to think of Thanksgiving already! But, we are very excited to work with this family and to photograph this special day for them.

The wedding was a complete success this weekend, it was beautiful and the pictures I took are amazing! I am having a very hard time narrowing down non-keepers, because they really all turned out well. There are some very obvious favorite, (like a few hundred) and I will be posting some on the blog as I edit them. With the rash of bookings for this summer (I am awaiting a deposit currently for a June wedding the Bride called me about last night!) I believe I will be adding another site to my current site, for Engagement/Bridal/Wedding only! I am so excited!

I also booked, over the weekend, an Easter shoot for this Friday with a precious little girl, Alivia, whom you might remember from this past summer in her pink fluffy pageant dress in the garden. And of course, I’m planning on getting our children in their matching Easter outfits…Easter day!

Starting tomorrow we are kid-free for a little while! My mom is taking Madeleine, and we are going to spend some days getting away too. It was so nice to have the past weekend to ourselves, while we stayed out-of-town for the wedding. I am so glad it all turned out so beautifully…congratulations to Amber and Jason!

Its the season…for love!

After spending the first part of the day in the hospital with my six year old having minor eye surgery, I came home to a lovely email, from a brand new, sweet client! She put her deposit down today, and booked their engagement session with us for March 30th! They sound like a fun-loving, very enthusiastic, outdoorsy couple and we are extremely excited to photograph their engagement! Our Spring and Summer are quickly booking up, and we can’t wait!

Booked another July wedding!

We met with the sweetest clients yesterday evening–Sharon and Trevor, and they put down their deposit to hold days for an engagement session, bridal session and their wedding in July! The best part of my job is getting to know the clients, their families, their stories. Something we shared? We both feel incredibly blessed to have amazing men in our lives to be step-fathers for our children. We are looking forward to photographing them and this special time in their lives!

I have been emailed numerous times this week over weddings and engagement and bridal pictures. The season for wedding bells, has really begun!! And it starts for us, next weekend, for an out-of-town wedding! We can’t wait!
