We decided to shoot Laurie’s bridal in Dallas…I went to school with Laurie (high school) years ago and so I was SO excited after reconnecting on Facebook, that she not only wanted me to shoot her wedding but that we could meet up here in Dallas for her bridal! And then as we crossed the line into Dallas coming from Mckinney, the rain hit…like we went through a wall of rain, and suddenly, in downtown Dallas, nothing but a storm! My heart sunk! I called Laurie, and our meeting place (Dallas flower market) was wet, rainy, and she drove 3 hours from Stephenville, all dressed up and ready to go! So, we made a plan to see if the rain would stop (and I prayed, begged really), and sure enough…it did! And then the debate…should we go out with her dress, clouds, wet roads, maybe mud…should we? Should we do it the next day? Finally, we decided to just go for it, and WOW. Seriously…WOW!! The sky, even the wet roads, totally worked to our advantage and we ran all over the Arts District shooting…and the result is nothing short of FANTASTIC! Laurie, I’m SO incredibly honored to be shooting your wedding in just a couple weeks, excited to spend this amazing moment in your lives, and in your families lives, with you all. And we are blessed by your excitement, smile, and the anticipation and happiness you wear so outwardly! Enjoy part 1 of this beautiful bridal! (yes, she gave me full permission to post this PRIOR to the wedding, lol!)

Laura is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell she is extremely excited about her upcoming wedding at the Dallas Arboretum in just a few weeks!! She promised me it was fine with her to blog her bridal, and I’m going to jump on sharing these sweet images…I’m so impatient when it comes to showing off my fabulous brides!!
We had a blast running around Adriatica in Mckinney, especially while the pear tree’s were in full bloom…somehow we caught them because a week later the white blooms were gone!!
Laura makes a beautiful bride, and we are so photograph their wedding at the Dallas Arboretum and to spend time with her and her fiancee Jamie, and their families!

This might be one of my favorite bridal shoots EVAH! The light at the Cotton Mill was dreamy, so yummy I could have slurped it up. And of course, the Bride Stacie is GORGEOUS!! Wes and Stacie’s engagement shoot was a few months ago, and we had a blast running around Adriatica, but WOW do these shots “take the cake!”
Stacie is incredibly easy-going, and I’m, well, not as much.
But she put up with me dragging her all over the Cotton Mill, and I think it totally paid off! And aren’t the boots fab??
Some Brides aren’t sure they want a bridal session, to which I say…..well how about i just show you why you should.
Stacie, Enjoy! It was a pleasure hanging out with you and your mom!

We had the attention of everybody at the Shops at Legacy in Plano as we wandered around shooting this Bridal session, though we tried to sneak around all the sides….at one point a little girl called out to Kimberly, telling her “you’re beautiful!” And, Kimberly, with that adorable little smile, took it all in stride! She might hate me forever for this, but the best word that describes Kimberly is “cute!” Maybe adorable or “awww” but cute definitely fits. Like, if you look up the word, one of these pictures will sit next to it.
And, I couldn’t be more excited to be shooting her wedding in a few weeks…and isn’t this dress phenomenal?? The deep purple lillies? Proof positive that “cute” can still RAWR!
Enjoy, Kimberly! See you SOON!
