Welcome to Treva Tribit Photography!

Hi! I'm Treva, a professional wedding photographer from North Dallas who specializes in capturing weddings. We are located in McKinney, Texas but we serve the photography needs of the entire Dallas/Fort Worth area. If you've followed my blog you know I'm more than just a wedding photographer. As you will quickly learn, my primary passion is my walk with our Savior Jesus Christ and without Him I firmly believe none of this, my talents, my life, or anything around me would be possible. I feel so entirely blessed by the talents and the people that He has put in my life.

As a photographer, I believe a photographer should be able to capture the essence of anything, whether it be landscapes, families, children, details or anything in between. My camera is merely a tool to help me capture what I see, the entire world a canvas, and my clients give me the inspiration to carry out the creative visions they invoke. Whether it be the dreamy eyed gazed between two lovers, or a rambunctious toddler staring down the lens, or the tender moments between parents and their newborn...you bring it, and I will capture it. It's my joy, my passion, and it would be my pleasure to work with you. Join me on this adventure! Thank you for stopping by.

We Won!

CathyThanks to my amazing clients!
Today I was contacted by Wedding Wire, announcing that we had won the Bride’s Choice Award for 2009! This is HUGE honor, as this is what was written about this award:

“Congratulations! You have been chosen to receive a 2009 Bride’s Choice Award! This award recognizes the top 3% of vendors from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews. That means your past clients have spoken on your behalf and chosen you for this honor!”
And believe me, beautiful friends, I am honored! And humbled. And entirely excited! Thank you! We do what we do because our heart and passion is to capture YOU!  In fact, the beautiful bride to the left, Cathy, (and her groom Michael, of course)will be featured in an upcoming Real Weddings on Intimate Weddings!  And if you look at the top, you can see our shiny new icon for our award….

Meet Tori & Taylor!

Again, that is!

You may recognize them from last December, when I did their session RIGHT before Christmas!  This time, we’re planning to get in sessions at Easter, for the summer, and then the Fall for 2009!

This family is so sweet, and these girls are in constant motion!  They love to take my hand and lead me to different areas of their home, (which is where the indoor shots are taken) and then their “backyard” which looks out over a lake, lots of trees…not to mention the little stone walk down to the dock that is nestled down in trees…its like being in the mountains!

We’re creating beautiful albums for both sessions, and I will be delivering her framed canvases to her, and her Christmas cards (I’ll post the finished product) in a few weeks!

November 8, 2008 - 6:23 pm Adrienne - They are adorable! What amazing pictures... I love checking out everything that you have done, it makes me so excited for the next shoot :)

Introducing Ava!

Besides being my daughter’s best friend, Ava is such a sweetheart!  She and Kaylee are not only inseparable, but they are so similar, there are times I think she’s the dark haired version..(or Kaylee is the blonde version!)  Ava is gorgeous, like her mom, and as you can see this is one beautiful family!  (And as sweet as can be, too!)

Emma’s Birthday Bash @ Libby Lu!

It was a magical day at Libby Lu! After hair twirling and sparkle spray, glittery make-up and shimmery polishes, a tiara was placed upon the birthday girl’s head and there were plenty of “ooh’s and ahh’s” from the audience of girls watching. As you can tell, Emma had a very special day, and at the end she and the other girls took home adorable backpacks filled with fluffy, glittery hair clips, makeup, and anything else you can imagine from a store made only for the most girly of girls! (Even I couldn’t escape the glitter dust that hung in the air!) Happy 5th Birthday, Emma!

Lambdin Family Shoot

What do you get, when you have three girls, two parents, seven dogs, and a Harley Davidson Motorcycle? This beautiful and fun family! We had a blast photographing them Saturday, and while there are so many images from this shoot, I’m just showing a few…trust me, we had a hard time picking between them all! I also rarely show off my black and white pics, so I added some this time. Some of the shots were stunning with the family, the Harley, and the pretty Texas wildflowers! Thanks for a great start to the Memorial day weekend, Lambdin family!

May 28, 2008 - 10:33 pm Beth - Thank you so very much Treva... I am in love with every photo! I had so much fun and am now debating having you come back out and just do some photos of just the dogs :) Everyone who has seen these are impressed. My husband is ecstatic about the harley photos, especially the one above, it looks like a postcard. We never knew it could look so beautiful in our own backyard. Thank you again.

June 2, 2008 - 9:03 am Allison - Great shots Treva!! I really love the black and white, of mom and dad walking hand in hand, towards the motorcycle... I think that one is so pretty! I should have done this for Mark! ...do you travel to San Diego?!!
