My heart is definitely in shooting blushing brides in wedding photography, but I have to say that a mommy waiting in expectation of her little angel’s arrival is equally as beautiful. Crystal is expecting a little girl in a few months, and wanted some maternity photos to capture this moment in her life. I know, having five of my own, that pregnancy really is such a short season in your life, and that time of anticipation is some of the fondest memories, next to holding your baby in your arms for the first time. We had fun shooting outdoors, but some pesky bugs found us a bit tasty, so we were both reminded of the shoot for the next week. 
Crystal-congratulations on your sweet blessing, remember this time, treasure it.

At one point during this shoot, Chris knelt down and put his hand on Jennifer’s belly, and a look passed between them that put tears in her eyes, and in mine. They knew the road filled with prayers, hope, and heartbreak that a couple dreaming of a baby of their own feels when each month comes, then passes, and they prayed….these two live with a bounce in their step, so completely in love, surrounded by people who love them dearly, and decided to let God bless them however He saw fit. If not a baby of their own, then a precious life they could love brought to them from another circumstance…and still they prayed. Their hearts content in Gods Will being bigger than anything we could dream up for ourselves, their prayers changed to serve Him…and as they were finalizing the adoption process, the fruits of their prayers, their families prayers, their friends prayers…became a miracle right in front of them. Congratulations Jennifer and Chris. Your fortitude, and unending faith is a testimony to everyone around you. We were blessed to enjoy a chilly afternoon with you both, and this is just a tiny little peek at what we captured that day!
