Welcome to Treva Tribit Photography!

Hi! I'm Treva, a professional wedding photographer from North Dallas who specializes in capturing weddings. We are located in McKinney, Texas but we serve the photography needs of the entire Dallas/Fort Worth area. If you've followed my blog you know I'm more than just a wedding photographer. As you will quickly learn, my primary passion is my walk with our Savior Jesus Christ and without Him I firmly believe none of this, my talents, my life, or anything around me would be possible. I feel so entirely blessed by the talents and the people that He has put in my life.

As a photographer, I believe a photographer should be able to capture the essence of anything, whether it be landscapes, families, children, details or anything in between. My camera is merely a tool to help me capture what I see, the entire world a canvas, and my clients give me the inspiration to carry out the creative visions they invoke. Whether it be the dreamy eyed gazed between two lovers, or a rambunctious toddler staring down the lens, or the tender moments between parents and their newborn...you bring it, and I will capture it. It's my joy, my passion, and it would be my pleasure to work with you. Join me on this adventure! Thank you for stopping by.

Carson’s Senior Shoot – The Cotton Mill, Mckinney TX

Not only is Carson a great “kid” who will be graduating this month, but his family happens to live across the street from us!  So of course, it was an honor to photograph this momentous occasion for neighbors!  Carson’s family is so supportive, and talent abounds, so I have absolutely no doubt that Carson will be a success at whatever he puts his mind and efforts towards!  Congratulations Carson, take everything that I know your family has blessed you with…love, courage, confidence and character…and follow your dreams!

Seniors :: Jackie part 2

Well, hello again!  Yes, that makes TWO blog posts in a row…I’m SO on a roll!  I can say that I’m still not sure how to incorporate the everyday STUFF into my blog posts, which probably makes me incredibly boring to read, but I can certainly offer you some GORGEOUS images of my girl Jackie…this is part 2, so again, leave us some comments!  (But only if they are good, lol…a’right?) :)

-sincerely, with all intentions of rockin’ your world with blog posts in 2011…

Seniors:: Jackie part 1

Ok, ok, ok.  I know my blogging has been, well, lacking.  And that’s putting it nicely really.  Everyone has their strengths…some people are amazing bloggers, but I truly sit down to blog and think..then over think, then throw up my hands and say I’ll do it tomorrow. ;)   I don’t know what it is!  I can facebook and twitter with the best of ‘em, but to sit and write out a blog post is daunting.  To indulge in descriptive words regarding my (extremely) boring day to day seems like a waste of good blogging space and YOUR time!  But, maybe just maybe with a new year in the works, I’ll find some gems each day to share with you.  Something even more than the gems known as my clients, and their beautiful faces!  But since we’re discussing how awesomely awesome my clients are, how about a senior shoot I took a month ago (I know, I know, I know)??  Jackie is super special to our family, as she is our babysitter, her sister is our babysitter, her mother has graciously invited our girls into her dance studio to do their THANG on the dance floor (and believe me, when Madeleine does her thang, you don’t want to miss it!)  Doing this senior session was beyond special for me, and the shots we ended up getting in her dance costume for one of the BAGILLION contests she is part of for dance, knocked our socks off!  Many thanks to Adriatica for leaving lots of junk everywhere for artistic inspiration, just to add. ;)   So here is part 1 of Jackie’s senior shoot…ENJOY!  And if you find it in your heart to forgive me for my horrible lack of blogging lately, please leave her (and I) some fabtabulous comments!!  After part 2, I will be sharing my FAVORITE images of 2010!!  Don’t miss it!!  ;)

Seniors 2011: Callie’s Senior Session

Callie is special to us…she is a sitter for our little girls.  She was a referral from another sitter we love, Jackie, and what these sweet girls probably don’t realize is just how much we love and appreciate them.  There is nothing..I mean nothing that is as important to us as our kids.   And when we leave them in the care of another, we are trusting them with our whole world.  To have these amazing girls we know and trust is everything.  Callie is funny, smart, incredibly sweet, and as you can see, beautiful!!  Jackie, her best friend, joined her at the end of Callie’s senior shoot at the Arboretum.  Isn’t that sweet?  The Arboretum in Dallas seemed a great choice, thanks to the beautiful weather, and all wonderful photo ops it provides.  I know that Callie is going to take the world by storm next year, though I have to admit I will be sad to see them go off to college…

We will be shooting Jackie’s senior session in a couple of weeks, can’t wait!

Callie, thank you for how you love our kids, how trustworthy you are, I hope these images will forever remind you of this fleeting, special time in your life.  Believe me, one day you will look back and have a hard time believing how fast it really went.

Seniors: Emily’s Session

Emily was totally up for whatever we could come up with, and we just happened to be shooting her session during the Texas State Fair ,so we thought, where else should we do it??  We spent the evening running all over the state fair, and I have to say, this was one of the MOST fun and exciting senior sessions we’ve done!   Emily is beyond beautiful, and as I said before, not just on the outside, but definitely on the inside.  She has a faith in God that as a parent, I absolutely am in awe of…which means her mom and dad have done an admirable job raising her.   Emily has big plans that involve letting God lead first and foremost…I am certain with that as her goal, I will hear of amazing things from this girl and her family!  Thank you Emily, for a fun evening, for beautiful images, and for the opportunity to be reminded what we parents are working towards with our kids.  You’re awesome!

Enjoy!
