So, the last few weeks, really the last month at least, its felt as though the Pacific Northwest packed up and permanently changed residence…right here in Texas! Rain, more rain, thunderstorms, then more rain, and starting two weeks ago, chilly cold Fall weather! Don’t get me wrong, the trade off for all the things wonderful about Texas, is we rarely have seasons. Most of our year ranges around 70-80 degrees. Then there is super hot, and “cold.” Its usually around 75 degrees right now. Its 55. And to a Southern girl, that means COLD!
So, looking over one of my weddings from a few weeks ago I realized this couple had a fantabulous day in the middle of so many rainy days, and then I saw it. The one thing I’ve been missing, looking for longingly out my window. The sun in all its glory as it set over the lake they were married by. I had to share this picture, not only because the couple is gorgeous (more beautiful shots of them, to come) but because I wanted to share the beautiful sunset with you.
What a blessing photography is. As I look out my window at grey skies and drippy weather, I caught a fleeting moment of a new couple in love, basking in a beautiful sunset.
Enjoy!
