Her gown swished across the floor, I swear I could hear anticipated breaths up and down the hallway. His eyes were closed, but his hands moved together in a circular motion, preparing, ready to gently brush her cheeks. As they both opened their eyes, the emotion and excitement sliced through the quiet and tears sprung into her eyes. And he could not stop the smile, obviously in awe of her, his hands reached up to hold her. She fought back tears, not wanting to ruin the makeup she had just carefully applied, but the sense of relief was visible as they reached one another. His hands on her shoulders, she slid her fingers up to his face, and they embraced. This was their “first look” and we were moved to have been there, as were the very closest of their family..though I think Gabriel and Hilary had no idea were even in the room. 
Thanks to the fabulous La Buena Vida Vineyards, this gorgeous wedding went like clockwork. The couple opted for a small, intimate gathering, and their friends and family all circled them in the center of the beautiful courtyard where they said their vows. Dwayne at Love Notes officiated, and did a spectacular job, it was heartfelt and beautiful. The cake was not only delicious but sweet perfection, you can see all the details, thanks to Elegant Cakery. And Tim Former played guitar, providing a unique and beautiful personal touch to the wedding. What fabulous vendors they chose! And the location was divine, we felt incredibly lucky to have been their photographers, and to have witnessed such a special moment in their lives. Congratulations Gabriel and Hilary, you are such a sweet couple.
