Where’s the blog?

As if there were groups of people out there waiting for my next post…heh.  Ok, so I know my brides and their families are probably checking, so I feel I must at least attempt to blog more often so you aren’t nearly as bored as I imagine you must be!!  But, I promise I am busy at work!  Besides the editing for a wedding (remember Tonya?) and a reception from the day after Thanksgiving, I have been meeting up with potential (now future) clients!  In the last two weeks I’ve booked a maternity shoot, engagement shoot, and two senior shoots for early 2009!  The first few months of the year are starting to get busy!  We are also working steady on albums and prints for clients, ordering framed canvases, and Christmas cards!  We have a family shoot this afternoon, and another one right after Christmas.  I am incredibly thankful for all of my clients, for your trust and the opportunities, our business has been amazingly blessed this past year in so many ways, I fear I cannot give justice to in mere words in a blog.  My next post will be dedicated to my fantastic clients from 2008, you deserve your very own post!!

On a personal note, it has been requested that I start giving you all the 411 on our family life, as many of you have become like family to us (and adopted us into your own in so many ways!), and you want to keep up with us!  While I can only imagine it will keep many of you bored, I am happy to keep the connection going, we just adore you all!  Bob & I are tremendous, and somehow the chaos of five kids (two being wee babies) hasn’t kept us from putting up our tree, and decorating the house, and getting the Christmas shopping completed!  It does, though, keep ornaments from staying ON the tree (as Madeleine throws around sparkly glass ornaments stating “ball.” as they *bounce* on the tile, or Kaylee from managing to break Kasen’s thumb, Elizabeth from giving us THE most gorgeous smiles known to man, and me from looking over all of them and feeling a little teary-eyed that they are ALL growing up way.too.fast.  Really, just too fast.  Kiss your babies, hubbies, moms and dads guys, and feel amazingly thankful long after the “day” of thanks, that no matter what is happening in the world, we have another day with those precious people we love. That’s why I love this job.  I am capturing a fleeting piece of time in your life and mine, and though we cannot stop time…we can look back on our pictures and remember every second of it.  I’m such a sap!  Love to you all!

December 7, 2008 - 6:31 pm Tonya - YEAH....we all love you that is why we check everyday. Who couldn't possibly not fall in love with you and Bob. YOU GUYS ARE THE BOMB...LOL. I wish I had another wedding to plan so that I could hang with you some more...but alas I am now an extremely happily married woman and spend my time being cherished by my honey (oh the life). But keep your fingers crossed so that maybe a lil gift will come our way and we have another reason to celebrate and perhaps get some great pics with you guys, our favorite photographers and great friends. MISS YOU Girl!!

December 8, 2008 - 9:05 pm Allison - Does that mean you'll post a pic of new baby Elizabeth?!! You are blessed! Happy Holidays you guys!
